Seminar on Gold Hallmarking in Vietnam 2023

In the framework of the Vietnam International Jewelry Fair (VIJF 2023), the World Gold Council and senior leaders from domestic jewelry businesses gathered at a seminar on the Quality of Gold Jewelry in Vietnam, held in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of November 17.

As a meeting place between the needs and opportunities for cooperation and business development between domestic and foreign jewelry businesses and consumers, the seminar focused on reporting on the quality of gold jewelry, as well as the trend of quality management to be in line with the common standards of Vietnam, the region and the world.

Photo: Mr. Dinh Nho Bang – Vice President, General Secretary of the Vietnam Gold Business Association reported on the situation of gold jewelry hallmarking management nationwide. He said that the “Gold Quality” program of the World Gold Council (WGC) is a necessary recommendation for Vietnamese jewelry businesses.

Photo: Mr. Shaokai Fan – Regional Director of Asia Pacific, World Gold Council, delivered a report on the situation of Gold Jewelry Hallmarking in the Asia-Pacific region. Mainland China is the largest market for gold trading in the first, second and third quarters of 2023.
